Maybe our favourite day

Today we did Aquatica, which i wasnt really looking forward to being a water park and all, but it was great, this is the newest park and was fab really bright and fun, and everything all new, great landscaping.
Rob went on lots of rides while i followed taking photos like a good wifey lol

me waiting in my shady seat

rob looking happy coming off a ride if not a little 'special' lol

One thing i loved about the park was the Dolphin viewing area this was nice and shady always good in my books, and they were fun Commerson dolphins they were really playful, and we got to see them do tricks too.

i waited here a while to get them to appear in the background

fun arent they.

Eventually rob convinced me to go on what he described as a lazy river hmmmm not quite.. the fact we had to wear life vests didnt sound great.

However rob got a bit bored if my pratting about getting used to the water in the fountains-taking with water camera so not great quality

zzzzzzzzzzzzz

rob was most happy when i got in the water

i wasnt so sure

but despite the really fast rapids in the water we had fun

did i mention i bought a very sexy cap today coz my head kept burning looks good doesnt it lol

what i liked about this park was we could walk it from our hotel which i am demonstrating here

i liked there was alot of shade, when i heard there wasnt much, it was bright, clean and lots of fun photo ops always a favourite of mine.

Now this was a long day so next we headed back to the hotel to change for DINNER WITH SHAMU!!!!

this is our dinner (well bit of the buffet) ive put this in just for my dad as i hear he is most amused by our food photos

and this is shamu

bit gutted not be right by the water but we had fun anyway learning how they taught them the tricks for the shows etc

thee and me - are we starting to look brown yet?

Next we headed for another change of clothes and went to universal to see The Blueman Group-

The BMG are a silent comedy trio who use percussion and paint. There is lots of audience interaction and the live music is amazing. They make music with pipes drums and anything they find. There was lots of fluorescent lighting and for the finale there is a sea of paper rolls which come from the back and cover everyone in the audience (which with the lighting makes it all bright blue) I got to meet one of them at the end as well - They don't speak though (just look puzzled constantly) - Rob

Rach - We got the dvd of the show, not ours so a bit different and rob got a t shirt, one of many of the holiday, we were on a high afterwards but had to run for the bus to the hotel but took some fun photos on the way.

So great day overall very busy but worth it, one of the best sorry just a long post

rach x
